This is the second dress pattern they have done together, the first being the Secret Garden dress - which is oh so pretty, and this second one doesn't disappoint!
The dress has beautiful simple lines, but also some intricate details - check out those pleats! There is also an option to do a gathered front instead of pleats, or you could just go simple with a plain front.
You can do the dress with or without the contrast band, I chose to match my band to the buttons, as I had some self cover ones. The button closure at the back is really a professional placket closure - this was the first time I had done this technique, but with the help of great instructions it was easy!
I wish I'd had some smaller self cover buttons though, because you can squeeze more button down the back to make a real feature of them!
The instructions are really clear - both written and images. The feedback given by testers during the process was really listened to, to the point where a whole set of new photographs were done to make everything as easy to follow as possible.
Little B says this is her best 'twirling dress' ever, and she loves to wear it!
