Pattern test - Scarlett Moto Skinnies by Laela Jeyne Patterns

Well what can I say about this pattern - other than, look how awesome these trousers are!! Just look at them!!!!

I love the fabulous Moto details on these trousers - although there is also a plain version included in the pattern - which make for a lovely simple pair of skinny jeans.

The pattern includes the back pocket pieces - but you are left to your own creative devices as to how you decorate them - if you want to. I went with a fairly simple V shape design for mine.

The front pockets are optional and you can decide if you want a woven waistband with a zip (not a fly zip) or a knit waistband - I went with knit, because my waistband is generally always covered by a top, so why not be comfy!!! He he!

The pattern is designed to be sewn with a stretch woven fabric - but some stable knits may work (although I would advise making a muslin incase you find you need to size down, depending on how stretchy your knit fabric is). I used a stretch twill for my pair, which was really nice to sew with.

If you like these trousers, be quick and grab a copy as they are only on sale for today!! ($7.75 instead of $10)

The pattern is available HERE.
